In December of 2020, we established Charlie's Fund after we unexpectedly lost one of our favorite patients. After he passed, his human asked us if she could set aside some funds specifically for clients experiencing financial hardship. We loved this idea, and quickly made the decision to set aside every penny that was spent on Charlie during his final days and devote those funds to helping clients experiencing financial hardship.

In November of 2021, we also unexpectedly lost Charlie's human, Christine. Christine was unfailingly kind and unquestionably generous. The bond she shared with her pets was simply extraordinary, and it only seems fitting to rename Charlie's Fund in honor of his incredible human.

"Christine's Fund" allows us to ease some of the burden that our clients may face during times of hardship. The use of these funds is equally distributed among our entire team - so that each of us has the opportunity to help the patients/clients that hold a special place in our hearts, just as Charlie and Christine did.
