Midtown is CLOSED nights and weekends, so that our staff can enjoy time with their families. The nearest 24/7 facility that provides true emergency care (and gold-standard medicine) is Yavapai Emergency Animal Hospital in Prescott Valley. 

As of June 2023, the "premier veterinary hospital of Northern Arizona" has stopped accepting emergencies after-hours (and does not have a Veterinarian on-site overnight). Meanwhile, VESCONA remains weekends-only.

This means there are no Flagstaff facilities that accept overnight emergencies on weeknights, nor do any Flagstaff facilities offer 24/7 supervision from a Veterinarian.  

We know it's not ideal to have to travel so far for emergency care, but at this time, it is the only option for the community. A large number of Arizona's emergency veterinarians actually live in Flagstaff, but there is no facility that provides true 24/7 emergency care, so they are currently commuting to Prescott & the Valley for work. 

If you find yourself in the middle of a Veterinary Emergency, please call one of the following options. We know how difficult it is to trust your pet with a new veterinarian, but we do not recommend trying to "wait it out" until we're back in the office.
Your pet deserves the best, and sometimes that means a trip to the ER.
