Midtown's Veterinarians

Don Mac Kenzie, DVM

Our affable patriarch! Dr. Mac Kenzie has been treating Flagstaff pets for fifteen years. He has a special interest in exotics, and a fondness for the shy pups that take a little extra time to befriend.

He earned his DVM from Washington State University in 2004, and is an Army Veteran. He shares his home with a woefully-misunderstood Pit/Chow mix named Grace.

In his free time, he enjoys brewing beer, motorcycle touring, and studying foreign languages (we're pretty sure he's fluent in Canine, but his Feline is a little rusty).

Erin Wessel, DVM

Dr. Wessel's heart belongs to Emergency Medicine, but she definitely enjoys the slower pace and family-atmosphere she experiences here as our part-time Associate Veterinarian.

She earned her DVM while studying abroad in Scotland, and has traveled extensively. She shares her home with a "brindle beast" named Louie and flame-point Siamese named Cheddar.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking/backpacking, and studying the very latest in veterinary medicine.
